Puppy Training Programs

The Puppy Training Consultation is available for puppies five months or younger. It provides guidance on basic obedience foundations, house training, and questions about the puppy’s training.

The 2 Week Puppy Board & Train is available for puppies at least 12 weeks old. Its curriculum includes Sit, Place, Down, loose-leash walking, on-leash recall, and greeting, door, and meal manners. It also establishes crate- and potty-training routines through positive reinforcement.

The puppy Board & Train does not include an off-leash reliability guarantee. Contact the team to confirm current eligibility and enrollment requirements.

Behavior Modification and Aggression Training

Aggressive Dog Training is an eight-week private-lesson program for dogs with aggression or reactivity around other dogs. It includes the Basic Obedience curriculum and additional lessons working around other dogs in different scenarios. The program is intended to give owners better control, handling skills, training tools, and desensitization guidance.

Aggression Board & Train combines two weeks of immersive training with four additional weekly lessons addressing aggression-related concerns. It includes six guaranteed commands—Sit, Place, on-leash Heel, Down, Down from Distance, and Off—along with work around distractions, manners training, an e-collar and training leash, and a two-hour owner handoff.

Complete correction of major dog or human aggression cannot be guaranteed through either aggression-focused program. Owners should disclose the dog’s complete behavior and bite history so the team can discuss eligibility and realistic goals.

2 Week Board & Train Program

The standard 2 Week Board & Train provides two weeks of immersive training while the dog boards with a professional trainer.

The program includes six guaranteed commands:

  • Sit and Extended Sit
  • Place and Extended Place
  • Heel with on- and off-leash walking
  • Down and Extended Down
  • One advanced command
  • Off

It also includes full off-leash recall, work around multiple distractions in multiple environments, greeting manners, door manners, meal manners, an e-collar, and a two-hour one-on-one owner session after completion.

The program is listed with “100% Obedience w/ Lifetime Refreshers.” Owners should confirm the current guarantee terms and scope of refresher support before enrolling.

Complete correction of major dog or human aggression cannot be guaranteed through the standard Board & Train. Dogs with those concerns should be evaluated for an aggression-focused program.

Therapy Dog Preparation

Therapy Dog Preparation includes eight weekly lessons. It is designed to help dogs and handlers prepare for therapy dog testing and certification.

Training focuses on obedience, manners, handler communication, and reliability around distractions. Upon successful completion, the Phoenix team states that it can evaluate and certify the owner and dog through Therapy Pets Unlimited.

Program participation does not guarantee certification. The dog-and-handler team must successfully complete the applicable evaluation requirements.
