Frequently Asked Questions
How much does dog training cost in Buckeye?
Dog training costs in Buckeye vary depending on the selected program, your dog’s age, current behavior, training goals, and the level of trainer involvement required. Private lessons, puppy training, Board & Train, therapy dog preparation, and aggression-focused programs have different formats and inclusions. Call (623) 294-1788 or review the current pricing page for the latest program information.
How long does it take to see results from dog training?
Program length depends on the option selected. Basic Obedience runs for 4 weeks, the Professional 2 Week Board & Train provides 2 weeks of immersive training, and Aggressive Dog Training and Therapy Dog Preparation each use an 8-week or 8-lesson format. Individual progress depends on the dog’s age, behavior, temperament, training history, selected program, and continued practice at home.
Do you offer guarantees on your training?
The Professional 2 Week Board & Train is advertised with 100% Obedience with Lifetime Refreshers. It lists six guaranteed commands, full off-leash recall, manners work, distraction training, and a 2-hour owner handoff. The guarantee applies to the program’s listed obedience skills. The website states that major behavioral issues, such as dog aggression or aggression toward people, cannot be guaranteed to be completely fixed during the 2-week program.
What training methods do you use?
Training methods depend on the selected program. Basic Obedience, Basic + Advanced Obedience, and the Professional 2 Week Board & Train include an e-collar and structured obedience work. Basic Marker Mastery™ is a separate reward-based program that uses marker training, a clicker, a 15-foot leash, a slip lead, and loose-leash walking exercises. Aggression-focused programs combine basic obedience with additional scenario-based lessons, practical owner handling skills, and desensitization work around other dogs.
